If we talk about its shelf life if it is stored in an air-tight container free from moisture at room temperature Mysore Pak can stay decent for consumption for the time period of one week to ten days. Interestingly, this sweet also have a history behind its invention , Maharaja of Mysore, Krishna Raja Wodeyar IV, (1884-1940) was said to be a lover of food and that was the reason behind a huge kitchen at the Amba Vilas Palace in Mysore, making different kind of cuisines ranging from European ones to Prasadam offered in the temples. Due to his desire for new taste and cuisines the head cook of the Royal Kitchen developed Mysore Pak.
